A Miami nonprofit using art, music and painting to help children with autism and special needs express themselves, grow and belong in our society.
The Hispanic American Artists Group Foundation is a nonprofit organization supported and operated by artists, musicians and healthcare professionals committed to the well-being and development of children diagnosed with autism and other special needs.
Since its creation in 2012 we have worked tirelessly to provide spaces for expression, inclusion and growth through art, music and painting — helping these children integrate into society while developing their talents and abilities.
Our mission is to create a music and painting conservatory for children with special needs — offering them tools to express themselves through the arts while strengthening their emotional, social and creative development.
Today we run programs and activities where children create artwork and paint, using art as a therapeutic tool and a path to social integration.
In recognition of a major contribution to the well-being of these children, the conservatory will be named the “Jorge Pérez Conservatory” — so that such a noble gesture endures as a cultural and educational space for future generations.
Three ways art becomes therapy, a voice, and a community.

Right now the foundation operates from a borrowed property at 1645 SW 83 Ct, Miami, FL 33155 — a property facing a $300,000 mortgage with a due date approaching. This puts the continuity of this vital social and community work at serious risk.
That is why we are calling on individuals, businesses and organizations who wish to become sponsors and collaborators of this cause.
I Want to HelpThe foundation keeps working with love, commitment and dedication to bring hope and opportunity to children who deserve to be heard, valued and included.
The most valuable way to contribute is providing a permanent place where the organization can continue this work with the children.
